Because I like to express excitement and curiosity in all that I do, I’ve always felt a particular fondness for the interrobang — a mark that combines a question mark and exclamation point to ask a question in excitement or disbelief. It’s a simple mark that represents my approach to work. It illustrates the passion I feel while pursuing the answer to a question and the excitement of arriving at the perfect solution.
Though I’ve worked in many different areas of creative in my career so far, my passion is strategy and the intersection of imagery and words. At the moment, I’m working for my alma mater, Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio. In the past, I’ve worked for Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio, Naked Lime Marketing (Reynolds & Reynolds) in Kettering, Ohio, and various individual freelance clients.
In addition to design, I also love hiking, reading, quality movies and TV shows, and watching my pup chase my two cats.
